It's been a long time since I done up a review.

For today, it's gonna be a review for a drugstore mascara which I have tried for the last 1-2 weeks and really loving.
We are gonna talk about CATRICE Cosmetics All Round Mascara in Ultra Black.

Before I share my thoughts with you, here are some close-up shots of the mascara applied on my lashes. I did only 1 coat of the mascara on both eyes, upper and lower lashes. No curling of lashes prior to application.

My review:
I think that it is a very very black mascara, so black that I usually only need to apply 1 coat of it to see it working - making my lashes darker and more visible. It coats each lash easily and does curl and lengthen them sufficiently that I don't often need to curl my lashes at all. The bristles are traditional mascara wand with a tapered end at the tip, its shape does help to reach the inner and out corner lashes easily. The main body of the mascara bristles are thick and bushy, hence I find it challenging to apply the mascara on my lower lashes. Although its not a waterproof formula, I do like that fact that it does not flake or stain my eye area black, it does withstand my teary left eye and oily lids in general. One thing to note is that if you apply more than 2 coats of it, it will coat each lash too heavily and make each lash look too thick in my opinion. I like the airy and voluminous effect that it gave my lashes. Overall, A MUST BUY AND TRY in my opinion. Price is great!
