Another new week for this series of challenge that I've created for myself and here's what's been set:
.:2012 Q2 Challenge Criteria:.
a) Using only 1 or maximum 2 colours for my eyes, and throughout this quarter, there should not be repeated eye shadows used
b) Using different lipstick and lipgloss throughout each month without repeating any lipstick and lipgloss during the same month
c) Using different mascara throughout a period of 2 weeks without repeating any mascara within that duration. 

 
Today I'm sending my guy off to the airport as he's leaving for business trip..
Not exactly the kind of day that I'm in a very ecstatic mood for complicated makeup.

It's a happening Saturday for me as I went for a free rock n roll concert at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatres - Bridging The Blues concert (14 Apr 2012).
 
Performing bands:
1) Dave & The Blues Machine (House Band of The Cazy Elephant)
2) Skunkjive feat. Harmonica Performance by Lead Vocal
I love the live performance by crazy elephant's house band, hence get to know about their outdoor performance the day before.
Anyways, here's the look if the day I had for attending this energy-pumping concert.

Q: Tell us more about the Workshop!
First, I wana say that the 3 of us who managed to register for this workshop are very lucky. There's only 3 participants in this workshop. Which, under normal circumstances, Shiseido workshops are always full class and places are snatched up real fast! We believe that the cut off date for registration was too short, and that this workshop details was only published on April Issue of CLEO, I managed to buy it early, thus making it in time for sign-up.
During the workshop, we were given a session of theory that covers the basics of makeup i.e. Face Shapes, Colours, Textures and Techniques.
      
Next, we were given a chance to try out their newest product launch from the Shiseido Maquillage range to create a look that we want; after we determined our face shape + type, and how we could transition the appearance to our preferred type using makeup techniques and colours.

Q: What are some of the things which you learn during this workshop that is useful to all of us?
Personally, I felt that the most valuable part of this workshop is the theory. Of which, the part about face shapes and type + colour theory can be beneficial to all of us. Especially for those who are just about to try putting on makeup, or those who are like me, still exploring and learning about makeup, techniques and etc.
   
For the benefit of this article, please allow me to share a little with you pertaining to our face shapes and types.

Hey everyone!!
I'm sure for those who check out my articles and my Social Networking Sites are aware that I am usually hyper when it comes to fleas/sprees and events organized by Smoochiezz!
They are by far the most customer oriented in terms of service, product quality and variety of products offered!
There was once when I got an elf essential lipstick during one of their flea event and I only found out after I reached home that the lipstick was broken inside, they gave me a refund the next day when I went down! Same for my friend's NYX Lipstick which I bought on her behalf. It was looking yucky and melted out after we opened in the office. I am giving them 10/10 for customer service and service recovery!!
