Look of the Day: 1 Apr 2012

Hey Everyone!

I am so excited today as this is the first time I am able to get into this Makeup Workshop by Shiseido!

Their workshops are almost always full attendance and hard to get-in as registration will swarm in like crazy.

As I am heading for a makeup workshop, I'm sure they'll get us to remove our makeup before we are allowed to proceed with the hands-on session  for hygiene reasons and to ensure good application of their products (without affecting the actual product performance).

Yay~ It's the last week of March already.. I hope that thus far I've managed to create different looks each day and the challenge for all up-coming LOTDs is to try my best to not have repeated looks.

Here we go for this week's worth of LOTDs for work:

Honestly.. I remembered to upload the pictures for the LOTD post but forgot to record down the items used..

So for this Fun & Casual look which I have here, I wont be listing down the items used but just with to share with you the shots taken.

I can only remember that the eye shadow used comes from the AmuSe Big Fan Makeup Kit which I bought from my 2nd Cherry Culture order during 2011 Christmas/Year End season sales.

Leave me a comment/send me a message if you really wana know what I used and I will try my best to recreate this look and list down the products used.

This weeks LOTD collection!! XD hahaha.. Anyways, you would have realised for the most of this week I am going low profile on my eyes with more focus on trying out new lip colours.

In fact, I have "activated" the use of my AmuSe Big Fan Makeup kit.. which I think will be used quite often in the coming week to allow myself to have a better assessment before I post up an in-depth review.

It's a hot sunny Saturday afternoon! I'm just so keen to give my new orangey eye liner a try, hence my decision for an orange-themed look.

Whoa-ho~

Yet another work-week has passed, how was your weekend? Mine was crazy!! The whole family had a wonderful time cycling on "rough terrains" in an offshore island known as Pulau Ubin. =D Tiring but really fun!

Ok, let's not stray away and get off-topic.

This week's LOTDs are quite simple and I hope that its not too dramatic for some of you.

Yes! As you can see on the subject, I am getting lazy!

Well, you can also noticed from last week's posts that I have delayed it quite abit due to my busy schedule and I foresee that it WILL get even busier.. hence I decided to consolidate my LOTDs and have it up on a weekly basis instead... worse case will be a monthly console  *pray hard weekly posts are workable*

So, here it goes~

I had very little time to put my clothes on and apply the very minimal stuff b4 I gotta rush out of house (over-napped) to watch a performance.

But then when I caught up with time...
 

I had so much fun doing this look and have used quite a lot of products.

It's Friday again!!

For today, I am using the duo eye shadow which I bought within a Silky Girl cosmetic bundle where it comes with the Double intense mascara, compact mirror + comb, dual-phase makeup remover and eye shadow duo.

I'm using an eye shadow Duo from L.A. Colors Mineral Makeup range, ME241 Tide Pool. I got this from CherryCulture coz I was rather curious how's mineral makeup gonna be like and if it is really that long lasting. For a start, I decided to go for this as on the pictures shown in CherryCulture, this seems to be a unique colour combination that I don't own. 

Well, after getting this and using it, I realised that I have similar colours though.. and at this point, I think I will reserve my reviews on this product in a dedicated [Review] post.

Look of the Day: 28 Feb 2012 (Tue)

I ended not being able to get to work due to onset of old injury ache.. my dear friends and readers, please do take good care of yourself and try your best to not injure your body, especially your spine.. some injuries can recover, whereas some will never and can only deteriorate >> my case.

Anyway, back to our cheery start of the week.

For this whole week, I shall be taking a break from the standard bigger / all-in-one palettes which I have. Instead, I shall be using all the little Duos, Trios, Quads and such for this week's work-week makeup. By the way, by these I mean for the eyes.. coz for me, I feel that the emphasis of makeup is to open up your eyes to the world.
