Hi Everyone~

I almost thought that I might never get the motivation to update my blog and YouTube channel already as the last entry was like.... 3 years ago? OMG!!!

Anyways, let's start small. I am sharing a mini review of the products from Perfect Diary that I have been using for the past 3 months or so:

1. Perfect Diary High Coverage Long Wear Liquid Foundation, #P01 Cool Beige [SGD 12.90]

This has a very light and liquidy texture, easy to spread and blend with sponge; tried with fingers and it gets tacky and application may get uneven or too thick. The liquid foundation wears for more than 12 hours with slight wearing off but not in an obvious manner. It tends to show case my dry spots and patches of skin where it is flaky and might not conceal my enlarged pores on my nose area well. It has a light coverage as it cannot cover my dark spots/patch nor pimple, but it does even out the skin tone to make it look smooth and clear/radiant. I feel that it is more suitable for well hydrated skin or those that has oily skin as my drier skin areas does not look that good after hours wearing it. Packing has a luxe feel and weight, comes with a pump for ease of usage.

2. Perfect Diary x Sanrio MagicStay Skin Perfecting Cushion Foundation, #P01 Ivory [SGD 19.90]

Super loving this BB cushion! Apart from the bling bling and cute packaging, really love how this cushion foundation covers better than typical BB cushion (my previous regularly used is from Etude House and Innisfree which has very light coverage but evens skin tone with radiance). It lightens and almost covers my dark spots/patches to a pleasing tone that blends with the rest of the skin. Definitely able to cover up my enlarged pores and works well on my T-zone and my drier areas on the face down to the neck (I always apply foundation/BB cream or cushion all the way down the neck and chest area that is exposed). Not as long lasting as the liquid foundation but it wears beautifully, even as my skin gets oily, it does not look greasy, in fact it creates a a sheen-like effect so you just need to blot off excess oil/shine to refresh it. Light powder to set it will keep it lasting longer too. This I highly recommend!

3. Perfect Diary High Definition Long Lasting Multi Function Mascara, #02 Brown [SGD 10.90]

This mascara amazes me from the 2nd use onwards as the first time using it I felt that it was too wet and need a long time to dry and set. Thereafter, it keeps/hold the curled lashes fairly well, but need to ensure I don't over-apply or over coat it. The usual effect from using this mascara is a fluffy airy spanned out set of lashes. At times if I get a bit heavy handed the lashes could become more defined. It has very small bristles as the mascara wand and this is an important factor when you want to reach all your tiny and very fine lashes at the corners of the eye, it helps to coat those tiny lashes too. Works well on lower lashes but I seldom do it that way coz it dries to a slightly tacky feel that if you accidentally rubbed your eyes (which I tend to), it might clump the lashes together... which isn't gonna look good. Overall if you are looking at mascara of this price range + has small/tiny/shorter bristles, this will work for you. For me I will not buy this again as I will likely go for Innisfree or Etude House's skinnycara or microcara, these korean makeup brands carry smaller bristles wands too, great for asia lashes and our smaller eyes.

4. Perfect Diary Easy to Wear Slim Long-Lasting Liquid Eyeliner Waterproof, #02 Brown [SGD 9.90]

Lastly, I was pleasantly surprised by how dark the brown colour looked like on the eyes when drawn. For me, someone who is not good at drawing eyeliner on myself using liquid eyeliner, I bought this coz of its price point and also because it was advertised as highly waterproof. My take is that it is surprisingly resistant towards my often teary eye which also has oily lids. My left eye is a challenge for eyeshadow, mascara and eyeliner. Thus far this liquid eyeliner stays put till I want to remove it. Also, it has VERY FINE brush tip, which will get juicy fast with slight shake, but does not get over juicy. Despite me having clumsy hands to draw fine eyeline on myself using liquid liner, I do enjoy using it by turning my boo-boos into some sort of art at the end of the eyeline hahahahahah~
